Masterclass - Working with the Diaphragm in TRE

Working with the Diaphragm in TRE Masterclass Online event - Melbourne, Australia time!

If the psoas is said to be the muscle of the soul then the diaphragm perhaps is the muscle of life. From our first breath to our last it is not just critical for our breathing but also central to our movement & expression & the vitality of life force that flows throughout us.

An extraordinary structure that plays a role in breath, posture, dynamic core stability, spinal movement & organ function, the diaphragm is also important to the vascular & lymphatic systems. It’s not only a central component of our deep front line but is ultimately connected with all the fascial lines of the body as well.

At the same, time it's almost impossible to have a stress or trauma responsethat doesn’t involve the diaphragm, & our diaphragm is one of the key areas of the body that ‘holds’ shock & trauma & directly influences our ongoing experience of our mental, physical & emotional wellbeing.

As our Heart Rate Variability (HRV) is largely determined by the range of movement of our diaphragm it's not only important for our emotional regulation, but its capacity to move fully & freely unencumbered by the stresses & traumas of our past is one of the primary determinants of overall our health & wellbeing.

In this 2 hr Masterclass Event (AUD $75) TRE Trainer Cheda Mikic (supported by Richmond Heath) will cover the neuroanatomy & function of the diaphragm & share a range of facilitations & techniques to help you work with the diaphragm in both your personal & professional practice of TRE.
